Learning to Decrease Anger, 12 Session Workbook

Thursday| September 26- December 19, 2024| 12 Session| 6:00PM-7:30PM| Free Online Class

Learning to Decrease Anger will present different strategies for managing anger with the understanding that this strong emotion can be a form of self-protection. However, self-protection can be harmful to others. We will explore different environments where anger arousal is activated, such as the workplace, home, and in our cars while driving. The class curriculum is an evidence-informed Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) workbook for parents. This curriculum can help reduce the conflicts arising from anger. There will be no make-up sessions for this class after session four.
Question: What are the most common anger-provoking examples you experience with your partner or child(ren)? What do you want to improve on? These questions are confidential. Your answers will help guide the class content to your needs.
