Developing Resilient Families

Mondays | April 10 - 17 | 2 Sessions | 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm
FREE online class
Certificate provided upon completion.

Life can be stressful at times. Some families may experience more hardship and trauma than others. Resilience doesn’t happen by itself. Parents build up this capacity and model it to their children. This class will help you understand how we can build parental resilience and teach this to our growing children. Children will need to build up their tolerance to disruptions. Resilience is the ability to adapt, bounce back, and even be strengthened in adversity. We will explore in this two-part class some examples of trauma, tragedy, and stress and how we can handle them better.
