This two-day workshop will present the benefits of Protective Factors for families. These factors may “buffer” the effect of risk exposure and help individuals and families negotiate difficult circumstances and fair better in school, work, and life. A self-assessment will be conducted during the class to identify our Protective Factor foundation and build upon that. In this class, we will provide local resources that may be helpful for families to strengthen these protective factors.
