  can save lives. QPR teaches life saving skills in one class period. \n\nS
 tudents will learn the warning signs of mental distress and a potential su
 icide crisis. They will learn to recognize someone at risk for suicide\, h
 ow to intervene\, and how to connect that person to appropriate resources.
  QPR is taught by trained mental health providers who are able to support 
 and answer student questions. QPR is appropriate for youth 7th grade and o
 lder. It is also recommended for anyone interested in eliminating youth su
 icide including community members\, parents and school staff. \n\nThis eve
 nt will be held in-person.
