 cians and helping professionals are confronting increasing climate distres
 s\, anxiety\, and trauma symptoms in our clients. Many of us find our own 
 anxiety spiking as we wonder how to support clients and ourselves through 
 these uncharted times. \n\nJoin us at this in-person session where partici
 pants will learn about the following:  Climate crisis impacts on the menta
 l health of children\, youth\, and adults \; Assessment and treatment of c
 limate distress \; How collective trauma changes clinical work \; Caring f
 or your own wellbeing in these times of collective distress \; Community R
 esilience - taking our skills outside the therapy room.\n\nMeasurable Lear
 ning Objectives:\n-Clinicians will identify the 3 areas of mental health i
 mpacts of climate change\, and be able to provide examples of each area as
  pertains to the local population of children\, youth and parent\n-Clinici
 ans will name at least 2 pathways through which climate change intersects 
 with systemic marginalization to increase vulnerability for local children
 \, youth and parents\n-Clinicians will name 5 tools they can use to integr
 ate climate mental health treatment into their clinical work\n-Clinicians 
 will describe at least 2 ways in which climate change challenges the tradi
 tional paradigms of clinical work. They will name at least one strategy fo
 r managing this shift while maintaining appropriate boundaries and profess
 ional ethics.\n-Clinicians will identify at least one opportunity for incr
 easing interdisciplinary collaboration to contribute to community mental h
 ealth resilience in this changing climate. \n\n<b>Trainer Bio:</b>\n\nJenn
 ifer Silverstein is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Climate Aware Th
 erapist\, with a background in providing nature-based therapy for children
  with trauma histories\, including children struggling with the impacts of
  the Sonoma County fires. She serves on the Executive Committee of the Cli
 mate Psychology Alliance - North America and facilitates their Youth Menta
 l Health Committee.  She frequently lectures on how to cope with challengi
 ng climate emotions\, collective trauma\, and community resilience.\n\n<b>
 Continuing Education Credits:</b>\n\nAll attendees will receive a certific
 ate of attendance. Participants may also apply for Continuing Education Cr
 edits after the event. Course meets qualifications for 4 hour(s) of Contin
 uing Education Credits for LMFTs\, LCSWs\, LPCCs\, and/or LEPs as required
  by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (Provider #128590). The Ce
 nter for Innovation and Resources\, Inc. (CIR) is approved by the Californ
 ia Association of Marriage and Family Therapists to sponsor continuing edu
 cation for LMFTs\, LCSWs\, LPCCs\, and/or LEPs. CIR maintains responsibili
 ty for this program/course and its content. CE Credits will be available a
 fter the event for a fee of $45. Certificates for CE Credits will be maile
 d to participants within two weeks following the event.  If you would like
